LED line® FILAMENT sources are a unique combination of the traditional EDISON bulb style with the most advanced and modern LED technology. The innovative FILAMENT technology incorporates LED fibres to create a parallel resemblance to classic incandescent fibres used in traditional retro-style bulbs, maintaining the classic appearance of the lamp whilst ensuring exceptional quality of light.
This solution is ideally suited for retro-style spaces, such as restaurants, pubs, hotels and homes. The unique quality of the LED line® FILAMENT series is based on imperceptible differences. The sapphire substrate used so far has been replaced with GRAPHENE SUBSTRATE covered with a layer of phosphorus where LED chips are embedded. The use of graphene provides the best working conditions for LEDs, and its molecular structure enables the creation of a unique, elliptical shape of the light source.
Graphene is as good electricity conductor as copper and outperforms all known materials in terms of heat conductivity. It helps dissipate the heat produced by the diodes, making the illumination brighter. Thanks to its properties, graphene reduces the temperature generated by LEDs, which translates into improved light output and longer lifespan.
