The LED line® solar floodlight with the award of the Minister of the Environment

The LED line® 10W solar floodlight was awarded 3rd prize in the CIRCULAR PRODUCT competition organized by the Ministry of Environmental Protection. The official announcement of the competition results took place on Tuesday, October 23 during a gala ceremony. During the ceremony, Wojciech Łopiński, representative of the floodlight producer, LEDIN Sp. z o.o. Sp.K., received the award and congratulations from the Minister of the Environment, Henryk Kowalczyk.

Being on the podium in the competition organized by the Ministry of Environment is a great honor for us. It thus confirmed that our LED line® solar floodlight is a product that fits into the idea of a circular economy and that it is a product of the highest quality – says Izabela Ossowska from the marketing department of LEDIN. – We have the title of “A nature-friendly company”, therefore our priority is to create light sources that are friendly to people and the environment. We create and deliver the highest quality light sources in accordance with European standards, containing the latest technology. We do it for the comfort and health of users.

The award-winning LED line® solar floodlight uses energy from a renewable source – solar energy. The polycrystalline photovoltaic panel used in the solar floodlight converts solar energy into electricity, reducing operating costs to zero while protecting the environment.

The materials used in the production of the floodlight are designed in such a way that they can be recovered, refurbished and improved. The floodlight is equipped with two motion sensors and a dusk sensor, integrated with the photovoltaic panel, which controls the switching on of the luminaire in selected lighting conditions. The luminaire contains replaceable lithium-ion batteries with a service life of 500 cycles, which are recycled after use. The light source is energy-saving LED diodes, thanks to which the luminaire achieved high luminous efficiency – over 100 lm / W. The IP65 tightness class of the luminaire guarantees its safe operation in all weather conditions.

The PRODUCT IN CIRCULATION competition, organized by the Ministry of the Environment, was intended for manufacturers, designers, distributors and service providers.

Its first stage was the verification and evaluation of applications, the next – presentation of the nominated products or projects at the exhibition during this year’s International Environmental Protection Fair POL-ECO SYSTEM, and the last one – the selection of three winners. The aim of the competition is to promote and disseminate achievements in the field of ecological, sustainable design and the application of innovative solutions in the field of product recycle. It also supports producers, designers, distributors and service providers who, with their products or designs, fit into the idea of a circular economy. The competition was financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
